Chapter 225: Host dared to curse the system
[You have accumulated enough energy points. Now you can update the shop to the 5th rank.]
Smile spread across Kadyn’s face when he heard the notification. Finally he would have rank 5 shop. It was the time to begin the task that he had talked with Aleera. A smile appeared on his face when he remembered her fair face and deep, emerald eyes.
It had been over a week since he talked with Aleera, but her image was still stuck in the back of his mind. He could not forget those silky hair and rosy lips and captivating eyes. She was like a goddess. Beautiful and ethereal and pure, almost untouchable. Whenever he remembered her his heart began racing in his chest and hormones started acting. He gulped down and controlled his urges and heating body and coughed before turning towards everyone in the shop.
"Alright, we are going to close the shop for today," said Kadyn. "Everyone can go and take a break for today. Enjoy."
Everyone cheered; especially the new workers. Ever since they had joined the shop, they didn’t have the time—or chance—to go out to enjoy. Even on Sundays, Kadyn made them practice their skills or work inside the shop while Elora, Zelie, Cecelia and others went on missions.
Kadyn smiled and clicked on the upgrade button and, the timer started on the screen, walked out of the counter, towards the exit. He didn’t wait for the weekend to upgrade the shop as he had no time to waste. After all, every day that passed was a day less before those creatures would come out of the Well of Suppression. He had no luxury to waste any time. The stronger the shop is the stronger the spells he could get out of the library. Everything else will also be upgraded.
He looked at Cecelia and others, saying, "I need to talk something to you guys. Come with me."
They followed him to the house. He sat in front of them and said, "I want to shift our shop at the most powerful district of the Vrilas."
Everyone looked confused. Kadyn explained, "I have made a deal with an elder of the World Magic Alliance. She would help us build our product and influence. She would also help us to get a shop there."
"Why would someone from World Magic Alliance help us? From what I have learned about them I can say that they are no noble people, instead all of them are filled with greed. She must need something from us, right?" said Cecelia. Other than Alera, no one knew about Aleera. That’s why everyone was a little taken aback when they heard about Kadyn’s plan to shift the shop into the Heart of Vrilas, as they called the central district of the Vrilas.
Kadyn smiled at her question and nodded. "Indeed. She wants something from us." He eyed everyone before saying, "It’s our products. Potions and artifacts. She wants eight percent discount on every product as compared to the market price." He chuckled. "She doesn’t know even if we give her eight percent discount, our price would still be above the standard price of the shop. I didn’t see any problem with it, so I agreed."
"Is she trustworthy?" asked Elora.
Before Kadyn could reply, Alera chimed in. "Well, I don’t know if she is trustworthy or not, but she is definitely the most beautiful woman I have seen. You should have seen him when we met her. Kadyn was literally salivating."
"No, I was not!" Kadyn protested. But the people were already giving him weird glances. He gritted his teeth and changed the topic. "Anyway, I want to shift our shop as soon as possible. Maybe in two or three days. I’m telling you guys so you won’t complain that I didn’t inform you earlier."
Gelna eyed Kadyn and asked, "Are we re-really going to the Heart of Vrilas?"
She felt like dreaming. The Heart of Vrilas was no ordinary place. It was where the headquarters of the World Magic Alliance was located; it was where her dream, the World Magic Alliance Academy was located. It was not a place where anyone could establish a business. Even her Cat Family that she considered pretty decent in Virlas was not worthy enough to open a shop in the Heart of Vrilas.
"Of course," said Kadyn, looking at Gelna. "Now you guys can go and do whatever you have in mind."

The day smoothly passed and the shop upgraded.
[Congratulations! The shop has reached the 5th rank.]
[Now any member of the shop can travel whenever he wants from one branch to another without spending any energy points.]
[Congratulations! The library has been upgraded.]
[Congratu...]
Kadyn grinned when the notifications sounded inside his head. It felt like a pleasant music in his ears.
"I want to remove the devil blood from her body from which she could be controlled by those creatures," said Kadyn. "Can I wish to purify Cecelia’s blood?"
The system was silent for a moment. Then the voice said, "Sure. Do you want to make a wish? Remember, the world is about to go mad, you can use it for lots of things. It can be one you trump cards in battle."
Kadyn sighed and said, "The things of the future I want to leave in the future. At the moment, it is more important to me to drive the tainted blood from Cecelia. I don’t want her to become one of the puppets of those disgusting creatures."
"So do you want me to cure her or not?"
"Yes, I want to!" said Kadyn. "Please cure her."
"Oh, I never said I would cure her." Kadyn could literally hear the smugness in his voice.
"What?" Kadyn was shocked. "What do you mean you won’t cure her? What about the wish?"
"I said I won’t cure her, I didn’t say I won’t fulfill the wish."
"Can you be more specific, damn it!"
[System warning: Host dared to cursed the system. 10000-1000=9000]
"What the... Since when the cursing started to cost thousand energy points?!"
