As the battle raged on, the Bodhisattvas were unable to keep their incredulity to themselves. "That technique..." one Bodhisattva murmured out of the earshot of the two Martial Artists.
"There's no doubt of it," Bodhisattva Maitreyi smiled. "It is an offensive version of the Yin- Yang Shield. He has managed to crack the principles of our secret technique and leverage its principles for an offensive version."
The other Bodhisattvas grew stunned that a Master of all people managed to crack their legendary technique and deploy its principles for himself.
"He seems a lot less impressive than the rumors say," Bodhisattva Pinaka couldn't help but utter.
Bodhisattva Maitreyi knew better, however.
"He's merely testing her."
Her words surprised the other Bodhisattva as they came to the realization that they had come across a Martial Master who was beyond their fathoming.

"He's full of surprises," Bodhisattva Maitreyi remarked appreciatively. "He's doing well against Amare as well. But..."
A knowing look appeared in her eyes.
"Will he be able to draw out the immense power shackled deep within her?"

And yet, she calmly blocked all of them with a static guard. The sheer solidity of her defense was truly stunning, considering that she wasn't even actively deploying any high principles in her defense.
Even though he had shut down Hypertrophic Surge, the Yin-Yang Spear wasn't something that could be defended against so easily under normal circumstances.
And yet, that wasn't all she was capable of.

She evaded a powerful hook, stepping forward with a devastatingly powerful attack aimed right at his ribs.

An attack that Rui had already dodged, having foreseen it well before it came. A swift kick flew to her chin, seeking to knock her out then and then.
Unfortunately, her reflexes were out of this world.

She ducked lightly, evading the blow while she threw a barrage of blindingly fast attacks of tremendous power.
That, too, was within his prediction.

Not a single one of them struck him.
Rui surged forward as his eyes remained fixed on her.
"You are really strong!"
Chills crawled across his skin at her words as he struggled to release his hand from her grip.
It was too late.

One hand held his hand while the other blasted him with a tremendous blow that far
surpassed others she had thrown.
The sheer impact of the strike was so great that it launched him across the battle arena, cracking his bones with a tremendous impact. Rui's expression grew stunned even as he activated Weaving Blood, healing all the damage his arms had taken.
If not for the spontaneous Heavenly Convergence that he applied on her to limit her strength,
he would have suffered much greater damage from her.
And yet, she didn't give him so much as a second to breathe, appearing a moment later.
It was within his prediction.

He evaded her blow, side-stepping it effortlessly.

She had predicted his evasion, setting up the attack.

Rui skidded away, barely managing to block it as he experienced a chilling sense of deja vu. Unfortunately, she had already reached him, unleashing a barrage of blows, one after

He barely managed to evade her attacks, much to his own surprise. Despite using Temporal Disharmony on her as well as having both the VOID algorithm and the SOUL System on her, he was unable to remain to avoid her attacks as easily.
Yet, he knew he couldn't allow her to maintain such a powerful initiative.

He ducked in the face of a powerful palm attack from Amare, successfully evading her attack.
Only to find that a second attack had already reached him.
It had reached him even before he himself had gotten there.
She had predicted him yet again.
