Chapter 2748 Transcendent Deliberations
Transcendent Raizel watched Rui depart from the Virodhabhasa Theocracy with a knowing expression.
"You didn't tell him?"
The Martial Transcendent shifted his eyes to the east of the Virodhabhasa Theocracy in the direction of the Nest of Terra, gazing at the Shield of Gaia underneath the Nest of Terra.
"You know I couldn't." The Martial Transcendent shook his head. "If he found out about the Truth of the Transcendent Realm... he might not be able to sustain the shock."
"You underestimate him." A feminine voice with a fluctuating tone reached him from across the continent. "He has withstood greater shocks and still retained his drive."
The Astral Sovereign raised an eyebrow as he turned in the direction of the Great Nam Ocean beyond North Panama, gazing at the Conqueror of Chaos submerged at the bottom of the ocean. "Enough."
Transcendent Raizel's tone was firm as his temporally distorted voice overlapped across time endlessly, surpassing the shackles of causality. "I decide what to have told him and what not to have. The Truth of the Transcendent Realm and the Unfolding... it is too soon for him to know about them at the juncture of power and progression he currently is it. There is a reason we have kept the former a secret from all of humanity."
They remained silent at his words.
They couldn't argue with that. "Still..." the voice of another Martial Transcendent reached him. "The Unfolding is something that is better prepared for than something that is meant to catch them off-guard. They will be completely blindsided when we are gone. It is foolish to keep them in the dark of what they will have to face."
"We can stop them if they go against the interests of human civilization," the Conqueror of Chaos shrugged. "Their wanted fake immortality is no match for our power. I can wipe out every single clone and database with their memories stored and erase them from this world."
The Astral Sovereign frowned. "And then what? You will have deprived humanity of powerful assets, and you will have deprived human civilization of yourself, in turn. That is a stupid idea. We should continue our original plan created by the Martial Primordial and simply wait until the moment to act. When the Unfolding occurs, human civilization will require as many of us to be present to protect this continent from absolute destruction when the Unfolding occurs."
The Martial Transcendents remained silent as they fell into agreement.
The plan that the Martial Primordial had come up with was the best plan, ultimately, and maximized the probability of the most favorable outcome.
The Astral Sovereign heaved a sigh as he thought about his conversation with Lord Virodhaabhasa with a smile.
He hadn't been certain until he saw him. There were other candidates who had garnered his attention, like the Chosen One, who had actually defeated him in battle. Yet, when he laid eyes on the Dawnbringer before him in his little, humble shrine, he had to admit that he had indeed found the right person.
A person who fit the bill so well that he actually wondered if he actually had a secret prophetic ability indeed. He had been uncertain about the future of human civilization until he beheld the Antithesis in the flesh very recently.
He, like many of his peers, saw the solution to their problem in the Antithesis.
"Now..." he closed his eyes. "Now, we just need to wait."
